Free Crochet Heart Pattern - Valentines Day!

Valentine´s Day is right around the corner. On 2016 I published a Free Crochet Heart Pattern
And I want to show you my this year´s amigurumi hearts, all made with this free amigurumi pattern. It´s super easy and quick crochet heart. You can make them as decortaions, little gifts or even turn your little crochet hearts into hairties, very practical as well. Crochet hearts can also be just as small gifts to hand out everybody you like. Kids love them, I know :)
And it doesn´t have to be only February, 14th to enjoy making and sharing those little crochet hearts. Always a very popular choice a year round.

These crochet hearts are turned into hairties. Beautiful combination of different soft colors. 

Katia Bamboo, 2.5mm crochet hook, some stuffing and a hairtie. 

This red crochet heart is crocheted up with a very small hook, 1,5mm, tiny crochet heart is rigid and there are no gaps between stitches.

Silk and Cotton and a Teddy Bear - it´s a boy, again!

Lucas the Teddy is a teddy bear that I can just crochet over and over again and I´m never get tired - all teddy bears often have this impact on me - I just adore teddy bears and want to try different yarns and sizes (one example in process). This teddy bear is crocheted from silk and cotton yarn. I got this yarn on my trip to Finland and when I saw this silk and cotton yarn I knew this is a yarn I want to try out (you should see my desk, it´s full of yarns I want to crochet with). It´s a lovely grey color with a soft pastel shade. (I always like grey, you can combine it with every color, just so convenient). I used 2,5mm crochet hook (Clover) and 6mm black safety eyes. Nose (watch the video how to embroider the teddy´s nose) is embroidered with cotton thread (I can use a variety of shades for a different look). I love my little terrasse full of flowers (getting more and more obsessed by them). Autumn is coming but I still like to sit even for 10 minutes to enjoy my tisane :)

Lucas the Teddy est un ours amigurumi que je peux crocheter de nouveau et je ne me fatigue jamais - tous les ours ont souvent cet impact sur moi - J'adore les ours crocheté en amigurumi et je veux essayer différents fils et tailles (un projet en cours). Cet ours en crochet est realisé de fils de soie et de coton. J'ai trouvé ce fil sur mon voyage en Finlande et quand j'ai vu ce fils de soi et de coton, je savais que c'est un fil que je veux essayer (vous devriez voir mon bureau, il est plein de fils avec lesquels je veux crocheter avec). C'est une belle couleur grise au teint pastel. (J'aime toujours le gris, vous pouvez le combiner avec toutes les couleur, c´est très pratique). J'ai utilisé un crochet de 2,5 mm (Clover) et des yeux de sécurité noirs de 6 mm. Le nez (regarder la vidéo comment broder le nez d´un ours) est brodé avec un fil de coton (je peux obténir une variété de nuances utilisant couleurs différentes). J'aime ma petite terrasse pleine de fleurs (de plus en plus obsédée par celles-là). L'automne arrive, mais j'aime encore m'asseoir même pendant 10 minutes pour  profiter de mon tisane :)
PS! Lucas the Teddy modèle est en Anglais, mais j´ai aussi les abréviations en français et il y a beaucoup de photos.

Amigurumi Crochet Penguin Pattern: Cara and Milo

Amigurumi Crochet Penguins

Amigurumi Crochet Penguin Pattern is out now. Nice pale pink and baby blue, pink for a girl and blue for a boy or make them both.
It all started in December where a friend of mine ordered two penguins for her daughter. They had to look like baby benguins.  I started designing and this is what came out: here Debbie Bliss Railto DK and Drops Air were used. 2,5mm crochet hook, approx. 22 cm/8,7 inc

You may want to create different facial expressions by adding little eyebrows or eyelashes or just an eyelid... smaller, bigger, thicker or thinner, with black or brown. I did little surprised look eyebrows for Milo and shy look for Cara, just perfect!

Precious orange pearlcat

Precious pearlcat. I mixed vivid colours: orange and green. I made a gift bag to go with it and put it in a lovely gift box. Much beauty and shine, for a girl how´s name is also Laura. Lucky girl:) This amigurumi pearlcat is approx 6 cm. At the end I made a card with three minimalistic cats, I used ink to do that.
Laura loves cats as I know and hope she will love it.

Un chat avec la perle. J'ai mélangé des couleurs vives: orange et vert. J'ai fait aussi un sac-cadeau pour et je les ai mises dans une boîte de cadeau très belle. D´une grande beauté et d´une brillance ce chat est fait pour une fille qui s´appelle également Laura. Ella a de la chance! Ce chat amigurumi est d'environ 6 cm. À la fin j'ai fait une carte avec trois chats minimalistes, j'ai utilisé l'encre.

Laura aime des chats et j'espère qu'elle l'aimera le cadeau.

Cuddle bunny rabbits

Handmade cuddle bunny rabbits! They are approx. 19 cm tall. I used super soft yarn: Katia Bamboo, 60%bamboo, 40%cotton. Safety eyes and safety noses are used.

Lapins pour gros câlins! Ils sont environ. 19 cm de hauteur. J'ai utilisé fil super doux: Katia Bamboo, bambou 60%, 40% coton. Les yeux et le nez de sécurité sont utilisés.
  Je souhaite avec ce lapins Joyeuses Pâques à vous tous!

Amigurumi brooches - DUO

Amigurumi toy brooches: I made a mouse and a cat: a lovely duo. Brooches to wear on coats! Just to give this "something extra"! Brooches can be worn by children on by adults.

I used 2mm crochet hook and safey eyes and a safety nose. For filling: wool. 

 

Amigurumi broches jouets: j'ai fait une souris et un chat: un duo charmant. Broches à porter sur les manteaux! Une touche de simplicité!
Juste pour donner ce «quelque chose de plus"! Broches peuvent être portés par des enfants ou par les adultes.

Amigurumi crocodile and amigurumi porcupine!

I made 2 new  amigurumi animal designs: amigurumi crocodile and amigurumi porcupine. A special order.I have done some special orders before, but as to this order I started to think am I capable for this or not?  First I drew many examples, how I imagined them to be.  I added a fact that in Estonia you don´t find animals like these.  After drawing (I often do it just to gather ideas) I started to make a crocodile, many versions. Even I had the drawings I just didn´t have the right feeling. Then I thought that the wanted crocodile had to designate a litte girl - only 1 year old girl – nickname given by her dad. Then I knew, crocodile have to have a litte nose, like baby crocodile do.  What a challenge ! The hardest part was to make head and legs (but I managedJ).

I used cotton yarn (right colour is salad green), 2mm crochet hook, 10 mm safety eyes (handpainted by myself) and wool for stuffing.

I have to say that I´m very pleased with the result at the end.  Pattern to be made. (pdf tutorial). 

Amigurumi  porcupine is a little bit like a hedgehog, because there must be a bit bigger prickles, but this crochet porcupine is still cute, also a nickname given for a woman.  Look her face and eyes! The hardest part was to crochet with fuzzy yarn.

I used brown cotton yarn and some fuzzy yarn, 6mm black safety eyes, wool for stuffing.

Amigurumi crocodile et le porc-épic

J'ai fait 2 nouveaux modèles amigurumi animaux: un crocodile amigurumi et un porc-épic amigurumi. Une commende spéciale.  J'avais fait quelques commandes spéciales, mais comme à cet ordre, j'ai commencé à penser  j´en suis capable? D´abord, j´ai alors dessiné  de nombreux  esquisses, comment je l´avais imaginé. En Estonie vous ne trouvez pas les animaux comme ceux-ci .  Après avoir dessiné (souvent je le faire juste pour recueillir des idées), j'ai commencé à faire un crocodile. Même j'ai eu les dessins j´ai un sentiment « pas vrai ». Puis j'ai pensé que ce crocodile devait désigner une petite fille – ne que 1 un – surnom donné par son père. Et puis je le savais, crocodile doit avoir un petit nez , comme un bébé crocodile. Quel défi! La partie la plus difficile était de faire la tête et les jambes (mais j'ai réussi).

Je dois dire que je suis très heureux du résultat ! Modèle amigurumi à faire !

Amigurumi porc-épic est un peu comme un hérisson, car il doit y avoir plus grand piquants, mais ce porc-épic crochet est  mignon, aussi un surnom donné à une femme. Regarder son visage et les yeux! La partie la plus difficile était de faire du crochet au fil duveteux.

For Just Film Festival: Mascot

 I made some handmade mascots for Just Film Festival: this is a film festival of childrens and youth films.

Tiny crocheted amigurumi toys, approx. 5-6 cm. A bit soft, handmade toys, filled with wool. I used plenty of colours! They are brooches and there are also some key-rings! Little naughty and cheerful creatures. Have a long and beautiful life! Hope fans will love those tiny mascots! There are 14 of them. And now: Let´s go see some films!:)

 J´ai fait quelques petites créatures - de minuscules jouets amigurumi au crochet, env. 5-6 cm, pour un film festival: Just Film: les mascottes! J'ai utilisé beaucoup de couleurs!
Il y a des broches et des porte-clés. Ils sont joyeux et un peu vilains! J´espère que les fans vont adorer les mascottes! Il y en a 14. Allons voir des films!

Amigurumi golden deco-bunny!

I made a new bunny, this one is a deco-bunny: golden amigurumi bunny as a decoration for my daughter´s desk. In spring I made some ceramic buttons as well, in original way. It´s was quite funny, but it took a long time to do those buttons. Now I show you the first toy where I put this lovely ceramic button. I do love little things. This bunny is 8 cm tall. I used yarn: Brilla Filantura Di Corsa. For nose I used leather for the first time. I have always wanted to do so, but you know, thoughts come first:) For eyes I used 6mm black safety eyes.  

It has been probably the hardest work of all, because these toy parts of this yarn were so hard to join together. Maybe it was even harder to crochet because I created a new design at the same time. I had to concentrate a lot. I made this deco-bunny for 4 days:), but I want everything to be perfect. Now it´s ready and I am pleased. In real, golden bunny has really lovely golden shine. Bunny´s ears are little, something new for my style, I like to come-up with new ideas. Hope You love this new bunny. 

I have also one announcement. I am preparing for my first little exhibition in Tartu Toy Museum, in October. This is going to be a little overview of my work. Even it´s going to be in a little display there will be approx. 40 little handmade amigurumi toys. Welcome to Estonia!
