Valentine´s Day is right around the corner. On 2016 I published a Free Crochet Heart Pattern
And I want to show you my this year´s amigurumi hearts, all made with this free amigurumi pattern. It´s super easy and quick crochet heart. You can make them as decortaions, little gifts or even turn your little crochet hearts into hairties, very practical as well. Crochet hearts can also be just as small gifts to hand out everybody you like. Kids love them, I know :)
And it doesn´t have to be only February, 14th to enjoy making and sharing those little crochet hearts. Always a very popular choice a year round.

These crochet hearts are turned into hairties. Beautiful combination of different soft colors. 

Katia Bamboo, 2.5mm crochet hook, some stuffing and a hairtie. 

This red crochet heart is crocheted up with a very small hook, 1,5mm, tiny crochet heart is rigid and there are no gaps between stitches.

Amigurumi fox is something I´ve wanted to create for a long time and a baby like version with a big head and little body is out now with a small modification on materials used. As I´m fond of chibi style and chibi fox looks so lovely I got ispired to create this little amigurumi chibi fox. Designing took time but I´m really happy with the result. I used 2.5mm clover crochet hook and main color is from Debbie Bliss (Rialto DK), merino. I also used 8mm black safety eyes for this figure and some white(ish) suede for the first version. This Crochet Fox tutorial comes with very detailed instructions on 10 pages with lot of photos to help you along the process. Size is approx. 8 cm/3.15 inc. It means one ball of yarn is more than enough for one fox:) (I got both foxes out of 50 g of a yarn ball).

A reflection? No, there are two versions, first one is with glued felt or suede parts which in some cases is more appropriate and practical but if you like more natural style and prefer crochet troughout the process then I´ve done another version, little embroidered cheeks and working with two colors on body. Everything fully explained in my pattern as well.

Arnold the Penguin - New Amigurumi Crochet Tutorial

Penguin Pattern - Arnold the Penguin - Make Your Own Gorgeous Penguin

Something new for penguin enthusiasts.

When I designed Cara and Milo Penguins at the end of the 2016 then I wanted to make a little amigurumi penguin as well. Arnold the Penguin was born and now the pattern is available in my Etsy Shop. If you like penguins then you could give it a try. It´s a digital download and printable.

I used Drops Air as the main yarn for the penguin and 2,5mm crochet hook, hand painted 8mm dark- blue eyes, but simple black eyes will do the trick. 

This crochet penguin is a weekend project really and can be customized with different type of scarfs. Perfect for gift. For light grey scarf  I used Drops Puna and it was crocheted trough back loops only.

 He´s soft and has a cute "just hug me" look. 

Arnold also has a little tail :) 

and for the grey-red scarf version I used a crochet tube with a craft wire inside. It makes the scarf bendable and allows to give a wind effect.
