Amigurumi ladybug!

I´m going to show you one of my latest special orders. One couple, newlyweds, wanted to make a special gift for the person who took care of the marriage ceremony:)

They saw in her office that everything indicated on the fact that this person is a "ladybug person" :) Eventually this couple found me when searching handmade ladybugs. At the beginning they wanted just two ladybugs, but I couldn´t just make them without adding some accessories, like a top hat for a groom and a veil for a bride. All this in lovely gift box! I also made a little card to go with it. I used only red and black ink. Minimalistic. They appreciated my effort and were completely surprised:)

Je vais vous montrer un de mes dernières commandes spéciales. Un couple, jeunes mariés, ont voulu faire un cadeau spécial pour la personne qui a pris soin de la cérémonie de mariage :)
Ils ont vu dans son bureau qu´il y avait quelques signes indiquant aux coccinelles :) Finalement, ce couple m'a trouvé lors de la recherche de coccinelles, fait main. Au début, ils voulaient juste deux coccinelles, mais je ne pouvais pas les faire sans ajouter quelques accessoires, comme un chapeau haut pour un marié et une voile pour une mariée. Tout cela dans la boîte-cadeau! J'ai fait une petite carte aller de pair. J'ai utilisé uniquement de l'encre rouge et noir. Minimaliste. Ils ont apprécié mes efforts et ont été complètement surpris :) 

I´ve made some new amigurumi ladybugs to create a new pattern. First ones were made without a pattern: crocheted amigurumi ladybug.

I love little cute and simple things. In spite of the simplicity look, creating and making a pattern of the ladybug was one of the hardest, but luckily it´s not so hard to crochet:).  

In this pattern color change is used, 6mm safety eyes and sheep wool for filling. The thing I love most in this pattern is the black stripe and the fact that this amigurumi ladybug is made in one-piece. Crocheted ladybug is approx. 5 cm long and 2mm crochet hook is used. This pattern should be greatly adaptable for bigger hook size as well. Ready to make a ladybug? :)

I encourage all to start making amigurumi toys, it´s fun and it´s a pleasure - handmade gift is the best gift. Yes, of course it takes time to crochet these tiny toys but the satisfaction is guaranteed when the toy is ready. The most important thing is the smile you´ll get from the receiver. 

J´ai fait un modèle de coccinelle amigurumi. Même que cette coccinelle au crochet a l´air de simplicité c´était le modèle le plus difficile à réaliser, mais finalement pas difficile à crocheter:)

J'encourage tous de commencer à fabriquer des jouets amigurumi, c'est le plaisir ludique et cadeau fait main est le meilleur cadeau. Oui, bien sûr il faut du temps pour crocheter ces jouets minuscule mais la satisfaction est garantie lorsque le jouet est prêt. La chose la plus importante est le sourire que vous aurez de récepteur.

Amigurumi Hippo PDF pattern!

There´s a story with every crocheted amigurumi toy that I have made. I have made two amigurumi hippos but they already live their own beautiful life. I started to miss the hippo! At the same time some people started to ask the pattern as well. It was time to make a new one!

Mostly I like to use cotton yarn with these tiny amigurumi toys. Quite many toys have been crocheted with Hanna Cable, GB Wolle. As I make tiny cuties, I like to use 2 mm crochet hook, but my patterns should be adaptable for bigger hook sizes as well.  Hippo is going to be approx. 6 cm long using 2 mm crochet hook as I did. My amigurumi friends used 3mm and 3, 5mm crochet hook and they succeeded perfectly.

In my opinion one of the most important thing with these tiny toys is joining pieces together, it needs a bit of patience:)

If you learn some basic crochet terms like: Crocheting in the round, forming a magic ring, slip stitch (sl st), single crochet stitch (sc), single crochet increase (Inc), single crochet invisible decrease (Invdec), how to make a color change and joining pieces together then my patterns are easy to follow! Nothing hard really! You just have to want to make amigurumi cute things and if you add your feelings as well, there´s always going to be a lovely result! In any case, it works with me:)

Hippos are cute little creatures. They are often used in many forms on children´s clothes and on accessories and personally I love it. Also something that is convenient for boys as well. Why not making a little crocheted hippo for someone you care about.

L´hippo est réalisée en "rangs continus", comme tous les amigurumi jouets - il ne faut
pas fermer les rangs ou tourner la pièce. On peut utilise un marqueur pour indiquer le
début des rangs ou bien le fil pour marquer le début de rang.

Comme une décoration, cadeau naissance pour bébés et pour chambre d´enfants.

 

Amigurumi golden deco-bunny!

I made a new bunny, this one is a deco-bunny: golden amigurumi bunny as a decoration for my daughter´s desk. In spring I made some ceramic buttons as well, in original way. It´s was quite funny, but it took a long time to do those buttons. Now I show you the first toy where I put this lovely ceramic button. I do love little things. This bunny is 8 cm tall. I used yarn: Brilla Filantura Di Corsa. For nose I used leather for the first time. I have always wanted to do so, but you know, thoughts come first:) For eyes I used 6mm black safety eyes.  

It has been probably the hardest work of all, because these toy parts of this yarn were so hard to join together. Maybe it was even harder to crochet because I created a new design at the same time. I had to concentrate a lot. I made this deco-bunny for 4 days:), but I want everything to be perfect. Now it´s ready and I am pleased. In real, golden bunny has really lovely golden shine. Bunny´s ears are little, something new for my style, I like to come-up with new ideas. Hope You love this new bunny. 

I have also one announcement. I am preparing for my first little exhibition in Tartu Toy Museum, in October. This is going to be a little overview of my work. Crocheted amigurumi sheep/Mouton amigurumi au crochet

Firstly, I have managed to open my pattern store both in Etsy and in Raverly.  I have been asked several times to make written patterns with my designs. Now the first one is done: amigurumi snail. For celebrating it, I made one amigurumi snail with lots of colours. It´s very hard work to make patterns, that is why I am very happy that the first one is ready, tested and available for other little amigurumi lovers:)

Secondly, I made an amigurumi sheep, a little version of the amigurumi sheep. For a 4 year old boy as a birthday gift. It´s 8 x 8 cm. I used the same size of safety eyes: approx. 1, 5 cm. Little sheep with extra big eyes:)

I like to draw as well, so it was quite appropriate to add a drawing of sheep as well. 

Premièrement, j'ai réussi à ouvrir ma boutique des modèles amigurumi dans Etsy et dans Raverly.  Maintenant, le premier modèle amigurumi est fait: escargot amigurumi. Pour le célébrer, j'ai fait un escargot amigurumi avec beaucoup de couleurs. Il est très difficile de créer les modèles, c'est pourquoi je suis très heureux que le premier est prêt, testé et disponibles pour d'autres qui aiment les petits créations amigurumi.

 

I used brown cotton yarn and this yarn is a bit stronger than the normal cotton yarn. I have promised to make one amigurumi sheep pattern as well, now there´s two options: right now I would even make the tiny one:)

These tiny yarn animals are perfect gifts for young children, they are always very happy to receive those crocheted handmade toys. I like the saying that you should offer something you would like to receive yourself. I would like to have this crocheted sheep:) I have two kids, they are very happy to offer this kind of gifts for the others.

J'ai utilisé un fil de coton brun et ce fil est un peu plus fort que le fil de coton normal. Ainsi, j'ai promis de faire un modèle de mouton amigurumi , il y a maintenant deux options: en ce moment, je dirais même le petit:)

Ces animaux minuscules au crochet sont des cadeaux parfaits pour les jeunes enfants, ils sont toujours très heureux de recevoir ces jouets faits à la main au crochet. J´aime offrir quelque chose que  j ´aimerais recevoir moi-même. Je voudrais avoir ce mouton:) J'ai deux enfants, ils sont très heureux d'offrir ce genre de cadeaux pour les autres.

Cheburashka, when he was little...

and tiny as a matchbox. My version of Cheburaska toy (crocheted in amigurumi style) - little character in Russian children's literature by Eduard Uspensky. He´s also known as a cartoon character and a mascot. The tail is really nice, because he´s really kind-hearted figure. He is still very popular.

Cheburashka is made to be a key-chain for car keys:) I used 6 mm safety eyes as always. Cheburashka looks sweet -  Tiny crocheted toys are cute!

J´ai fait mon version de Tchebouraschka peluche. Tchebouraschka est amigurumi au crochet. Tchebourachka est  un personnage d´une histoire de Edouard Ouspensky. Tchebourachka est aussi le figure très connu et très aimé au série de films d´animation. Il est aussi une mascotte. Il est encore vraiment populaire.  Tchebourachka en Wikipedia

Il est vraiment petit comme boîte d'allumettes. Avec ses oreilles larges il est mignon. Tchebouraschka est fait comme porte-clé, un cadeau special.

It´s always good to see how the same pattern gives different result - Everybody has his own style and a special touch! I usually use 2mm crochet hook but this pattern is adaptable for bigger hook sizes as well.

crocheted amigurumi bunnies, plenty of colors

Hi, I like to create really tiny toys and these tiny crocheted amigurumi bunnies are the smallest toys I´m able to make. I have allready created aprox. 50 toys:) Making one amigurumi bunny takes time- few days. Sometimes I make the toys face several times, as long as it tels me quietly "Hello!" - bunny is now alive. Toys have always been more than just toys:)

Salut, j´aime bien de créer des jouets vraiment minuscules et ces lapins minuscules amigurumi crochetés sont les plus petits jouets que je suis capable de faire. J'avais fait maintenant env. 50 jouets différents:) au crochet. Un lapin amigurumi prend assez beaucoup de temps - quelque jours au minimum. Par example, parfois je fais le visage de jouets plusieurs fois tant qu'il me dit doucement "Bonjour!" - lapin a l´air vivant.

This tiny light- blue bunny is my favourite. This time I used one my favourite cotton yarn: Hanna Cable, GB Wolle and for the ears some effect yarn, they came out really nicely. I used 6mm black safety eyes. Amigurumi bunnies were made as brooches. Funny thing was that the person who ordered them thought to give two of them away as a gift, but decided not to separate them, so they are together, all tree:)

Ce petit lapin bleu clair est mon préféré. Cette fois, j'ai utilisé un de fils de coton préferé: Hanna Cable, GB Wolle et pour les oreilles de fils effet. J'ai utilisé 6mm yeux noirs de sécurité. Amigurumi lapins sont realisés comme broches. La personne qui a voulu d´offrir les deux sur trois a décidé les garder et pas séparer. Donc ils sont tous ensemble, les trois:)
