I have made one Free Amigurumi Snake Pattern- you can download it for free.
This could be your first amigurumi project, beacause it´s easy to make, I´ll show you how to make "neat finish" as well and so on :)

My Snake for the 2013 

Black Snake is here. I have done this before.

This time I made a blue verison, like a water, because I´m a waterman as a sign. 

I painted the safety eyes, looks like water with different layers. I crocheted one light blue line into the snake as well and put 2 perles near to the eyes. 

Yarn used: Madame Tricote, Germina (100% bamboo) and as I had 50 g of the yarn, I made the snake a bit longer.

Crochet hook: 2mm

This yarn shines! It´s soft and a bit glamorous as well.

Filling used: fiberfill

So get ready for the Year of Snake and make a nice gift for somebody! :)

New crocheted amigurumiTeddy Bears

One new teddy bear, brown one. This amigurumi crochet teddy bear is a bit different, but I used this Amigurumi Teddy Bear Pattern. I only made some supplementary rows on head (just to get it bigger) and as to nose, I made it triangul this time. Also, I crocheted a special triangual on teddy´s buttom and used some fabric on ears and on legs. Scarf is knitted. Very simple one. I used 8mm golden safety eyes and fiberfill for stuffing. So he is soft, can be cuddled and washed as well, if needed.

Why do I like this pattern, because I can make with little changes something different from previous one. I can make longer legs, taller body, you name it. 

I used Katia Bamboo yarn for the brown bear and Schachenmayr Cotton Linen (78% Coton, 22% Linen) for orange bear (this bear is on my previous post as well, but you don´t see him so well:)) Stuffed with wool.

You´ll see the curves:)

I wanted to use some leather, but this time I tried some fabric. I have done so tiny toys, that I haven´t had a chance to use fabric. This bear, as all my bears is one of a kind.

And one more teddy. Actually this is a lilac teddy, but photos show him like blue. Here you can see the head without a scarf, you see how the head and the body part is joined together.
Materials used: Schachenmayr Cotton Linen yarn, 2mm crochet hook, wool for stuffing, 6mm safety eyes, pattern the same (no changes made in the pattern): amigurumi crochet teddy

These teddies, hopefully will live a long and happy life. They are true friends.

I always try to use simple eyes and noses when making new designs, because this gives the natural look to the toy and people can add different eyes to make their own puppy perefect. I like simple designs, also because you can add a little felted heart or some fabric, some ribbon and so on...

Amigurumi crochet Angry Birds

Amigurumi Crochet Angry birds:

These first characters of Angry Birds are made for my daughter as a birthday gift! I didn´t want to buy them at the the supermarket and decided to make my own birds:)

About this amigurumi pattern:

Angry birds are very well known characters and there are plenty of amigurumi patterns for free and I thought this time I´m not going to make my own pattern (even though,maybe smaller version as well) but will try to make one with somebody´s else pattern for a change:)

I found one pattern from Adorable Amigurumi. She uses 4,5 crochet hook, but I used 2mm crochet hook.

At firt, as always, I have a feeling that nothing comes out:) and also I didn´t know much about these characters, that´s why my first yellow bird is orange:)

I made some little changes: nose, I made some extra stitches and ears: they are also a bit different.

As to yellow bird, I made feathers in one piece!
