Amigurumi crochet Angry Birds

Amigurumi Crochet Angry birds:

These first characters of Angry Birds are made for my daughter as a birthday gift! I didn´t want to buy them at the the supermarket and decided to make my own birds:)

About this amigurumi pattern:

Angry birds are very well known characters and there are plenty of amigurumi patterns for free and I thought this time I´m not going to make my own pattern (even though,maybe smaller version as well) but will try to make one with somebody´s else pattern for a change:)

I found one pattern from Adorable Amigurumi. She uses 4,5 crochet hook, but I used 2mm crochet hook.

At firt, as always, I have a feeling that nothing comes out:) and also I didn´t know much about these characters, that´s why my first yellow bird is orange:)

I made some little changes: nose, I made some extra stitches and ears: they are also a bit different.

As to yellow bird, I made feathers in one piece!

I´m working on my Amigurumi Dog Pattern and I´m also looking some testers who would like to test my pattern. Pattern will be in English, some editing maybe also needed (native speaker).

 

Here I used 2mm crochet hook. Eyes: 6mm, nose: 12mm.Yarn: Katia Bamboo
Pattern can be tested also with 3 or 3,5 mm crochet hook.

Previous works where I also used 2mm crochet hook, but thinner cotton yarn. I made two versions: sitting dog and dog lying on it´s face.

Amigurumi Teddy Bear pdf Pattern is ready

I´m happy to present You my newest amigurumi pattern: Amigurumi Crochet Teddy Bear Pattern
It all began with this post: Making teddy bears
I have been making amigurumi toys and patterns for three years now. I wanted to make one amigurumi cuddle teddy as well. So I designed this teddy bear. I made it very simple and classical. I´m very pleased with it, I like the hands the most.

 

A bit of fun as well. Bear vs. Bear

You can add a little scarf to your bear to make it perfect.

You can also make just a nose with a different colour and it gives totally different result.  

Amigurumi Teddy Bear pattern comes with 39 photos and with descriptions to help You to make the best of your project. Teddy bear´s legs and body is made in a single piece. Crocheting teddy bear´s head is fun, because I like this moment when teddy´s head is taking it´s shape. 

I used 2mm crochet hook, but this pattern is tested with 3mm crochet hook by Leah.

My teddy bear is approx. 19 cm in high.

I can suggest some yarns to use: Schachemayr Linen, Boolero by Rosarios and Bamboo by Katia.

You can use fiberfill (soft version) or wool for stuffing. 

Teddy´s cuddle

I believe that teddy bear is a lifetime friend.Sometimes You can just cuddle your teddy bear:)

Je vous présente mon dernière patron: Nounours au crochet.

Tout a commencé avec ce post: faisant un nounours.

J'avais fait des jouets et des modèles amigurumi depuis trois ans. J´ai decidée de faire un nounors au crochet. J´ai realisé le tuto (maintenat en anglais) de nounours au crochet. Je l'ai fait très simple et je suis très heureuse, j´aime bien les mains de nounours. Ce patron amigurumi est realisé avec 39 photos accompagnées de descriptions pour vous aider à tirer le meilleur de votre projet.  

J'ai utilisé le crochet de 2mm, mais ce tuto est testé avec le crochet 3 mm par Leah. 

Environ 19 cm de haut.

Je peux suggérer quelques fils à utiliser: Linen Schachemayr, Boolero par Rosarios et Bamboo par Katia.Vous pouvez utiliser la bourre (version soft) ou de la laine pour le rembourrage.Vous pouvez ajouter un petite écharpe à votre ours pour le rendre parfait. Vous pouvez également faire juste un nez avec une couleur différente et il donne tout à coup un résultat différent.

Je crois que Nounours est un ami pour la vie.

Amigurumi Cuddly Bunny Pattern

My first amigurumi cuddly bunny was made for my son. He likes it so much. I have discovered that children like simple and cute things. I also made two amigurumi bunnies for a photoshoot. Photos taken by Edyth Raamat

And I made a lovely gift for a newborn baby boy with handmade card where I used ink to draw a yellow butterfly. I added a gift box as well. I have to say that I always like minimalism, especially with cuddle toys.

Amigurumi snail pattern

I´m going to tell you a little about my amigrumi snail pattern.

I  think my first version was (on my Estonian blog): amigurumi tiny snails and I have other posts: amigurumi tiny snails and here: amigurumi snails.

Now I show you my last two ones, I took my amigurumi snail pattern and made two colourful versions. I just couldn´t resist :)

hook: 1,5mm (pattern: 2mm hook) for body

hook: 1,25 for antennae

stuffing: wool

yarn: Hanna Cable, GB. Wolle

eyes: 6mm black safety eyes

size: 7cm/2,8 inches

About my snail pattern 

It was my first pattern I have created for my Etsy Shop: TinyAmigurumi. I have made many versions (bigger, smaller, but the same design) for this pattern. For now I use only my very first original version. I like this one the most. And you can change the size as well.

When I started to make my first snail I thought maybe I will make it in one piece, how to do that? Personally, I like simple designs. But it´s not always easy to create something simple:) And then I came up with the idea to make the snail body and head in one piece. I like this amigurumi snail pattern, because it´s easy, beginner level and you don´t need so much time to make it. Amigurumi snail is in one coiled-up piece plus anteannae (2). I used 2 mm hook and GB Wolle Hanna Cable yarn to have this really tiny amigurumi snail. But this pattern is also great, because it´s adaptable for bigger crochet hook sizes as well. For example, when tested, even 3,5 crochet hook was used.

And what is great, you can change colours wherever you want and when you want to have pretty different results. Why do I like handmade toys? I like them because every toy has his own look, even I use the same pattern, even eyes are placed in the same place and so on...handmade toy somehow gets his own life...it´s great...you don´t see it...but you can feel it.

Why do I like crocheted snails? 

I think there are different reasons. They can be lovely decorations in your home on palm trees. Little kids find them adorable and they are not afraid of them. These little snails are excellent as a little gift for a friend etc. So, I find plenty of reasons to make one.

Amigurumi birds

Amigurumi birds: bird and birdie.

I tested her pattern, now I have the possibility to show them to you as well. I used 2mm crochet hook and you can see how little are these amigurumi birds on my next photo. These amigurumi birds are just lovely for a little wedding gift. I made them a bit more minimalistic than the original pattern, but still I find them lovely, because they have vivid colors and birdie has my hand painted safety eyes. These 6mm safety eyes have a lemon yellow color. I used Katia Bamboo yarn, I just love it, it´s soft and has slight gloss, what makes it a bit glamorous. This time I used fiberfill instead of wool for stuffing.

I have tested two patterns: this one is my first one. I´m going to talk about the next pattern: amigurumi doll in my next posts. My personal favourite is the bird :) - but how otherwise? :)

Amigurumi making is really great hobby even for me it goes: hooking like it´s my job:)

And a lovely gift box always makes the difference.

J'ai testé son patron, maintenant j'ai la possibilité pour vous montres ainsi. J'ai utilisé le crochet 2mm et vous pouvez voir comme ils sont petits ces oiseaux amigurumi sur ma photo. Ces oiseaux amigurumi sont tout simplement charmant pour un cadeau de mariage. Je les ai fait un peu plus minimaliste que le modèle original, mais je les trouve belles et harmonieuses, parce qu'ils ont des couleurs vives. Les yeux de sécurité 6mm ont une couleur jaune citron et brun. J'ai utilisé fil Katia Bamboo, je l'aime tout simplement, c'est doux et un peu brillant, de les rendre un peu plus glamour.

Et une boîte cadeau fait toujours la différence. 

J'ai testé deux patron: celui-ci est mon premier. Je vais parler le patron suivant: poupée amigurumi dans mes prochains posts.
