OOAK Artist Teddy Bear Gustav

OOAK Teddy Bear named Gustav

I´ve been learning teddy bear art for some time now even I haven´t posted any photos :) (hope to do in in near future) but first of all I would like to introduce to my very first teddy bear where amigurumi and old teddy bear making traditions are combined. He is all handmade and fully jointed - 5-way jointed with cotter pins and hard disc joints. I used glass eyes, teddy bear disc joints and natural sawdust filling. Nose is embroidered. He is tinted with oil paints. I don´t have any of the yarn left so he is unique.
To be adopted: Collectibles

Simple Tutorial for Sculpting Amigurumi Cat

Simple Amigurumi Sculpting

This Cat is made using exact same pattern: Amigurumi Cat Bianca, just a nose is embroidered and a very simple mouth sculpting is made. Simply using a yarn needle if you feel need shaping a bit...
After the nose is embroidered take some yarn in the same color, make a line and pull it together by making a knot just under the amigurumi head piece and voilà...:)

New Amigurumi Pattern - Amigrumi White Cat Design - named Bianca

New Amigurumi Cat Pattern is out now.

New Amigurumi Pattern

I´m happy to present a new Amigurumi Cat design. Cat named Bianca is now available on my Etsy Shop
I used 2,5 mm crochet hook and Debbie Bliss Rialto DK, extrafine Merino Wool Superwash yarn, 8 ply, 2 balls. You can also use bigger crochet hook and a different yarn, your Amigurumi Cat will be just bigger. Always take one size smaller crochet hook than written on a yarn label for amigurumi toys.
Size with 2,5 mm crochet hook would be approx. 27 cm/10,6inc. I used 12mm hand painted safety eyes with slit pupil and 12mm safety nose. If you vary colors you can use the same pattern to have different results.

Freeform Crochet and Amigurumi Toys

 Freeform Crochet and Amigurumi Toys

Freeform dress for an amigurumi toy

I´m designing a new Amigurumi Cat Pattern at the moment, it will be out soon. This was my first attempt, but I have made some changes to the pattern (will show the final version in my next post). So I experimented a little, just for fun. I put two things together: a freeform crochet and amigurumi. This is the result, an amigurumi cat with a freeform dress.

Freeform Hat for an Amigurumi Bunny

I have had this bunny for years and now the bunny has a very soft hat as well, freeform crochet style is used. And I found an amigurumi tiny carrot which I also made years ago, sometimes disseapearing and then coming out again because of being so tiny.

Freeform accessories for a girls dress

My daughter has a lovely dress, minimalistic and beautiful at the same time. Made two freeform accessories with beads to give that little extra bit of elegance.
I have never tried a freeform crochet before, it was quite a fun thing to try! I went to Marianne´s freeform camp
